Relax While We Work

As we begin ordering materials and starting construction, our team will keep you informed every step of the way. Most projects transition from deposit to completion in as little as 2 weeks or go up to 8-10 weeks. We’ll work together to set a target installation date and coordinate any necessary site preparations.

Delivery & Setup

Once your sauna is finished, we’ll coordinate with with you and local contractors (electricians) as needed. Custom indoor installation typically takes 1-3 days. Then, you’re all set to start enjoying your sauna.

We consider saunas to be a lasting commitment to your home, health, and family. Unlike most kit and barrel saunas, our designs are made to endure for decades with the right care.

We create wood fired, electric, gas or infrared saunas

- Wood - Most traditional, best steam, no EMF (actually absorb EMF), so they are the "healthiest". Gets you outdoors and away from the rush of life.

- Electric - In home use. Most convenient. Turn on from anywhere with WiFi controls. Floor mount units with a lot of rock emulate wood stoves

- Gas - Can be mobile. Good quality steam

- Wood - Need to build fire and feed (is getting outdoors actually and advantage though?). Outdoor use only.

- Electric - Not as natural as wood.

- Gas - Need gasline. Little more maintenance than wood for mobile saunas.

- No, with our climate, the panels are not designed to overcome the drastic temperature changes.

- If installed in a garage, you would want it to be heated to at least 65F before turning on the sauna

- Nordic white spruce, knotty cedar, hemlock, clear CVG cedar

- Thermally modified spruce or aspen

- Walls - any conventional siding or the same materials as the inside of the sauna (except black taika)

- Our large windows are insulated and tempered, so they have the same qualities (or better) than your home windows

- Smaller windows can be 1/4" thick tempered, single pane

- Douglas Fir Doors are the most stable and have the best insulation value. They also enable conventional door handles if you wish to lock the sauna

- Solid glass doors are perfectly acceptable and are very common

- Our outdoor kits are designed and built in MN, so they are ready to last for many years in our climate

- Our barrels and cubes are built with the thickest staves in the industry and are thermally modified so they will last twice as long as a cedar unit

- The indoor models have also been in production for many years and show their quality. Some have been assembled, disassembled, moved and reassembled many times and they still perform great!

- Everyone is different. If you like it hot, likely you won't last as long. More moisture usually reduces longevity too

- Dry sauna can lengthen duration

- Cold plunge cycles are a great way to extend your session and gain the benefits of hot/cold cycles

Everyone is different. 170F is a good starting point for beginners. Fine tune it from there.

We use vinegar water and wipe down the sweat contact points. Natural cleaners are the best

A few drops right on the rocks, a stone diffuser, a few drops in the water bucket to ladle on, a few drops in the Himalaya water tank reservoir on top

Yes! We have locally developed essential oils. Our manufacturer purchased a sauna from us to enable him to fine tune them for the best experience and benefit.

- Kits and custom saunas can be set on decks, pavers, concrete

- We can work with slopes and landscapers to build pads to fit them

- Kits are typically assembled on site

- Custom are built on skids and moved in with a "shed mule" machine that is designed to safely move them without damaging the grass

- For steep slopes and hard to access places, cranes are also used to place them

Drains are really nice to have if possible, but not necessary. Keep an eye on water control and wipe up excess if no drain is available

- Typical use does not create a noticeable amount of moisture compared to the volume of the home. Modern air exchange systems keep air moving sufficiently in a home to dry it out

- If convenient, a nearby bathroom fan is nice to have for additional insurance

- It is best to run the sauna for 15-20 min after the last use to allow the heater and room to dry out

- Open the door on indoor units after this time

Depends on usage, but for most residential units, there will need to be annual maintenance - remove and clean out the broken down ones and replace as necessary.
